My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.
For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard,
for out of it flow the springs of life.
Proverbs 4:20-23

"...keep them in the center of your heart..." Love that thought. Looking forward to blooms like this - we had snow again this week. Can't wait to start spring planting. This verse reminds me to slow down and watch my heart and what springs from it. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThis is a verse I must live my life by. I haven't always done so. But there is great truth in these words. Thanks, Beth.
ReplyDeleteLove this, Beth! So bright and uplifting. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteGuard your heart, is the best advise we can give to anyone.
ReplyDeleteGreat reminder. Beautiful picture!
ReplyDeleteHi Beth. I read this verse and immediately thought of my youngest son who will graduate from high school in about 3 1/2 weeks. These words I will write on a piece paper when he leaves this fall and it is my prayer that he will write them on his heart. Thanks for stopping by my "place" today. You are always welcome there.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth, this verse is always actual - for every one of us! I often times think about my children and children in generel - to teach them to gueard their Hearts - to have grace to be an example / rolemodel for them ...
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful Picture to the verse!
I love how you always give scripture only on Sundays. It's a great reminder for those of us who are so full of words that it's not about our words but HIS words!
