Even though I write here to
encourage you, with all my heart to know God’s love and grace, I struggle to
know it myself some days. The not-enough’s and un-worthiness sneak into my
thinking to where I’m left questioning my place in all of this. I have a lot of
old thinking that I’m seeking to be renewed since coming to know God’s love
later than most, at 42 years of age.
Before that time, my husband and I had
become accustomed to getting by in our strength. Then came the faithful season
when God miraculously delivered both of us by that Amazing Grace. How the sweet
the sound, even now.
So maybe this is a place to encourage myself as well as
you. Because no matter what, this Love I've found burns within me to share it
with you despite my own struggles. It’s my desire that, together, we can bring
the Hope we sorely need and the One I’m so thankful that found me.

For a little more about me . . . below is the standard bio you will find me using in the various places I share my words. I figured, why not share here too.
Beth is Simply Beth, at least that’s what her blog is called. A wife to her Army Reserve husband and a mom of two boys, with her oldest son serving in the Navy. She a Jesus lover, a family gal who loves her friends, and reading with a hot cup of coffee. Her life is changed, even after 20 years of marriage with a love that grows stronger. But the bottom line, is in the heart. Beth loves the heart things and to speak about the Love that changed her and keeps changing her. She’s an encourager who thrives on being in our corner. You can also find her over here, blogging, Twittering, Facebooking, and posting pictures to the Pinterest world.
