Three Word Wednesday

Three Word Wednesday

You give life

I'm figuring out how to be okay with this place of not having words to fill a post. God seems to be leading me to a place of spending more time in His word. What better place is there to be? It's in His word and those opportunities to worship Him where I find peacewhere He gives me life.

So today I'm pouring out my praise to Him only. Would you join me? Share three words that give praise to Him. You can share in the comments, Facebook or on Twitter

I'm sharing the lyrics to the song that inspired my three words. I loved the moment last night at my church, during a General Board Team Leader meeting, when we sang these words and worshiped Him together.

Great Are You Lord
by: All Sons and Daughters

"You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
Great are You, Lord.

It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It's Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our priase to You only.

You give life, You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope, You restore
Every heart that is broken
Great are You, Lord.

All the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing
Great are You, Lord."

Sharing with Lisa, Jennifer, Tracy and Kristen.

  1. The Cross Stands - its what I wrote about in my post and the words are still resonating today. And even though you didn't have words for a post, this is glorifying Him isn't it? Lovely.

  3. A 'more excellent way' (1 Cor 12:31) This has been sticking with me for a few days now! After all the talking of seeking after the spiritual gifts, Paul links 'chapter 12' to 'chapter 13' - the love chapter, with this: "And I will show you a still more excellent way..."

    LOVE... it trumps all!

  10. HI Beth! Three words...hmmm. That's a challenge! I guess I would go with Faith, Hope and Love. (and you know which one the greatest is!)

I am thinking of you in your season of quiet. Don't worry about the lack of words. You'll get them when you are supposed to have them. It's all a timing thing. I know you'll come out so much stronger.

Happy to be on the journey with you,
    Ceil

  12. Love this Beth! Trust the Engineer! Taken from a Corrie ten Boom quote I had posted on a picture I took and posted on my blog this week. "When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don't throw away the ticket. You sit still and trust the engineer." I trust Him!!

  14. Beth,
Love your three words, "You give life"! And what better place to find life than in His word. My three words would be, "Need Your Word"...kind of as a prayer and reminder to myself that apart from God and His word I can do Nothing! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
    Love and ((hugs)),
    Bev
