Today's question is an easy-peasy one. I will explain why at the end.
Question: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? If you do not like ice cream, do you have a favorite dessert?
This question came to my mind as I passed by one of my favorite pictures hanging in the hallway of our home. It always makes me smile.
The two sillies above (hubby and youngest son) both love butter pecan. My son said he's pretty sure chocolate ice cream resided in his cup at the time of the photo though.
Since I am sharing their favorite flavor, I might as well share the favorites of the entire family.
My son's girlfriend, who is very much a part of our family, loves mint chocolate chip.
My favorite? I love all things coffee flavored too. Just one scoop, please. You can keep the cone and I will pass on any toppings. Simple, yet oh so yummy.

I'm a peanut butter & chocolate person. The one Baskin Robbins makes is the best, but I'll take any variation that includes both my besties. :) My husband is mint chocolate chip all the way.

ReplyDeleteIce cream is really yummy on a hot summer's day, however, alas...I have sensitive teeth so I don't often choose it over other desserts such as creme brulee which I adore! However, I have found that when I have ice cream on a cone, I am able to enjoy it without pain! So, my favorite flavor when eaten on a cone would be butter pecan or mocha almond fudge! Yum! I can enjoy it that way one lick at a time!

DeleteI am loving getting to know you on Mondays! :-) Oh, we are huge ice cream fans. My favorite flavor..hmmm…that's a hard one. Anything chocolate, really. Lots of chocolate. And I love heath bar topping. Mmmmm. I may have to head to Page's (local ice cream joint) later.

DeleteI love coffee ice cream too with either butterfinger or health bar chunks mixed in. But when I want a quick fix I head through a McDonald's drive through for a vanilla soft serve cone :)

DeleteI have two favorites...if we go to Baskin Robbins in the summer months, it's baseball nut! I have loved this flavor since I was about ten! (and that's a long time!). My second favorite, that I will have at home, is vanilla!

DeleteI like Deep Dark Chocolate with Lemon Custard ice cream! YUUUMMMM! One of my boys likes cotton candy with sweet cream! I made homemade blackberry ice cream last week - and, oh, my - it was delicous! Maybe ice cream is my fav flavor! LOL

DeleteI love Mint Chocolate Chip, with Rocky Road as a close second!! I like to have it in a cup with the cone squished down on top. My ultimate, forget-the-diet, please-apply-directly-to-my-hips indulgence is something I used to get at Baskin-Robbins. A banana royale. A scoop of mint chocolate chip, a scoop of rocky road, a sliced banana, hot fudge, and nuts. It was like 10,000 calories. I miss those days!!
